Week #1 is in the Books!

We have had a busy, but good first three days! Students have been working hard to earn champ bands by learning routines and doing best first grade work. It’s going to be a great year!

In first grade we have a ‘safe place’ where kids can take a minute to use some of our classroom tools to calm down or simply get a ‘little space’. Everyone has been excited to try it out!



Today we made vowel bats to go along with the vowel bat song!

Have you heard about our VIP table yet?! Students are enjoying finding out who the mystery person is each day! Soon the VIP spot will be an earned priveledge seat. 







Yup! They rocked first grade this week!

Welcome Back!

Today I will be heading back to school (formally) with all of the other teachers and staff in Colchester! We will be planning, discussing, and preparing for the upcoming school year.  I hope that you all are enjoying these final days off before first grade begins. I can't wait to see you soon!
