Field Day

Please send your child with sunscreen on (and possibly even more to apply later in the day), a full water bottle, hat, sneakers, and some snacks on Monday for our UMS field day.  The day is always more fun when students are comfortable and healthy!

Potato Planting

This morning all first grade students had the opportunity to help plant potatoes behind the food shelf. In the fall, these same students (who will then be in second grade) will help to harvest the potatoes that will then be donated to the food shelf.  Ask your child to share some 'potato facts'!

Special Olympics Torch Run

Last Friday we were fortunate enough to be able to cheer on some students from UMS who were participating in the Special Olympics.  We all lined the back of the building to cheer and applaud as three students helped to carry the torch signifying the start of the games!
