Thank You!

I realize this is coming a bit late, but I just want to say ‘thank you’ to you all for sharing your children with me this year! They were a wonderful bunch and although I only had half the year with them I still got to witness so much growth. Have a wonderful summer and stop by in the fall!

After filling not one, but two classroom buckets with Champbands it was time to celebrate with a sundae party!

Quick and Easy Games

Today, we spent a few minutes learning how to play hangman and ‘guess the number’. I told students these are great games because you only need something to write on and something to write with. We talked about how they could play at restaurant while waiting for food, in a car during a trip, or any other time they just wanted something to do. 

Monday Journals

Today students wrote their final entry in their Monday Journal. I encourage you to sit with your son or daughter and look through the journal together. Notice the changes from the first entry to today. Journals may now stay at home. They are yours to keep.

Fact Practice Fun

Today we reviewed addition facts with a variety of choices and activities.

Today we started to get ready for next week’s field day by tie-dying t-shirts to wear. They look great!
