Cinco de Mayo
As a continuation of our cultural study of Mexico we made guacamole this afternoon. Cinco de Mayo is a Mexican celebration (although celebrated by many in the US as well) of their victory over France in 1862. Many students had never tried avocado so today was their first experience. Most really liked it!
