Our most anticipated science unit got under way this morning! We have started our embryology unit. Over the next 21 days students will learn about the life cycle of a chicken. We will care for 12 chick embryos in the hopes of having a successful hatch! Nurse Kelly came in today to discuss how to keep both ourselves and the embryos healthy with good hand washing. Keep watching for more information and photos as we learn more and more during this 'egg-citing' time!

Spirit Week - Fill a Bucket Day!
'Fill a Bucket Day' is based on the book(s) by Carol McCloud. The idea is that we all carry an invisible bucket that can be dipped into or filled. Mean words or unkind actions dip into your bucket kind words and actions fill buckets. Students loved making their own bucket and filling their friends' buckets with compliments throughout the day.
Spirit Week - PJ Day!
The boys and girls had been talking about it for weeks...PJ Day! On Friday, April 18th they were finally able to wear their pajamas to school and carry their furry friends with them throughout the day. Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate so we had to have our picnic lunch inside, but no one seemed to mind!
